Two Persons Including a CCL Apprehended; Firearm and Motorcycle Seized

The team of PS New Usmanpur has solved an attempt to murder case with the arrest/apprehension of two persons, including a CCL. A semi-automatic pistol with two live cartridges and the motorcycle used in the offence were recovered from their possession.

A case was registered at PS New Usmanpur regarding an incident on 07.09.2025, wherein the victim, Abdul Wahid (24 years), S/o Abdul Rahoof, R/o Jagjit Nagar, New Usmanpur, Delhi, was shot at by two unidentified persons riding a motorcycle after overtaking him.
A dedicated police team led under the supervision of DCP North East gathered evidence, examined CCTV footage, and developed vital clues that led to the identification of the suspects.

Based on these clues, the team successfully arrested Nadeem (22 years), S/o Aneesh, R/o Gali No. 7, New Mustafabad, Delhi, and apprehended a 16-year-old CCL., a semi-automatic pistol with two live cartridges was recovered from their possession, and the motorcycle used in the crime, Hero Splendor (No. DL-5SCJ-5125) was seized.

During interrogation/examination, both confessed to their involvement and disclosed that the incident was linked to an old dispute between them.                                                          Further investigation in the case is underway.
