Central District PS Karol Bagh has apprehended a juvenile from Karol Bagh area regarding commission of theft.
On 09Sep, an E-FIR was received at PS Karol Bagh regarding commission of theft .The complainant stated that he has suspicion on the CCL “A” who was working in his house, as he went missing immediately after the theft.
Accordingly, investigation was taken up. A special team was constituted under the supervision of DCP Nidhin Valsan the team initiated their ground-level efforts to trace the accused. Through both technical and manual surveillance the team succeeded in tracing the accused, who was identified as CCL ‘A’, and was apprehended from the Karol Bagh area on 11Sep.
During further investigation, it was disclosed that, the accused was residing at his sister’s house. During the search of his sister’s house, the team recovered stolen items as mentioned below:-
₹29,500 Indian currency, 27,000 Indonesian currency, 6 Malaysian currency, 620 Thai currency, 80 US Dollar, 5 Dirham, 10 Hong Kong Dollar, 10 Canadian Dollar, 3 key bunches, 1 APPLE Air Pod, 1 Gold ring, 1 Gold Chain and 1 gold bracelet.
During sustained interrogation, CCL “A” confessed to the crime. He revealed that he had been residing with his sister in Karol Bagh, Delhi. His sister was employed at the complainant’s house, for the past 10-12 years and he accompanied her there to assist with work. He further disclosed that he had been committing the theft in parts over several days. The complainant became aware of the theft much later. He also admitted to being a drug addict, and in order to finance his addiction.
