Delhi Police, West District: In a significant anti-narcotics operation, West Delhi Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 35 grams of heroin/smack during intensified patrolling in Tilak Nagar. The operation was conducted under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan to curb drug trafficking in the area.
On 24 September, a specialized team from PS Tilak Nagar was tasked with intensified anti-narcotics patrolling. The operation was supervised by the SHO of PS Tilak Nagar and the ACP of Tilak Nagar, with overall supervision by the shri Darade Sharad Bhaskar DCP, West District.
During patrolling, the team noticed a suspicious person attempting to flee. After a brief chase, he was apprehended. Upon search, 35 grams of heroin/smack were recovered from his possession.

• Criminal Background: Previously involved in approximately 25 cases under the Excise Act and NDPS Act
