The police team of Krishna Nagar Police Station has solved a very sensitive case of kidnapping and rescued a 3-year-old child safely in a very short time.
On 15 Sep, a woman named Sapna from Gandhi Nagar reported that her known person Sudhir had kidnapped her 3-year-old son on 14 Sep, Sudhir who lived in the same building, had proposed marriage to Sapna earlier, but she refused. Upset by this, he kidnapped her son.
An FIR was registered dated 15th Sep, at PS Krishna Nagar and the investigation was given to PSI Nishi Malik under the close supervision of senior officers. A special team led by Inspector Mukesh Rana, SHO Krishna Nagar
Immediately after registration of the case the team worked day and night to trace the accused. Over 30 CCTV footages were checked, and technical surveillance showed that the accused was moving near railway lines towards Aara, Bihar. Later, during a WhatsApp video call, the complainant noticed the background of Surat railway station. This clue was shared with GRP Surat, and immediate coordination was done.
Finally, in a well-planned operation, the police team along with GRP Surat arrested Sudhir at Surat railway station. The kidnapped child was recovered safely and brought back to Delhi. The accused was produced before the court and sent to judicial custody.
