After the recent blast in Delhi, the Delhi Police has gone on high alert across the city. In the Central District, police teams are carrying out continuous flag marches in crowded markets, busy roads, and major parking areas.
Senior officers, including DCP Central Nidhin Valsan are personally leading these flag marches in their respective zones along with ACP Central Ashish Kumar and SHO Karuna Sagar, Karol Bagh ensure public confidence and safety. Their presence on the ground is aimed at strengthening security and checking any suspicious movement.
Following the blast, police visibility has been increased across all sensitive points. Teams are questioning suspicious individuals, checking their identities, and verifying details whenever required. Night patrolling has also been intensified, especially in areas where footfall remains high during late hours.
At the CCTV control room, dedicated staff are monitoring every corner of the markets in real time. Live feeds from cameras installed across the district help the police keep track of crowd movement, unidentified vehicles, and any unusual activity.
Police teams are also keeping a close watch on all public and private parking spaces. Vehicles that have remained parked for more than two days are being checked thoroughly. Their registration details are being verified, and police are contacting the owners to confirm the purpose and location of the vehicle.
