Last night, the Indirapuram police in Ghaziabad arrested a criminal named Shahbaz, also known as Poli, from Nandanagar, Delhi. He was injured in his leg by a bullet. The police found an illegal gun, some bullets, and a stolen motorcycle with him.

During a routine check, the police signaled two suspicious men on a bike to stop, but they tried to run away. One of them fired at the police, and the police fired back and caught Shahbaz. His accomplice managed to escape, and the police are searching for him.

Interrogation revealed that Shahbaz and his partners used to steal mobile phones and chains from people on the streets in Ghaziabad, Noida, and Delhi NCR, and then sold them in Delhi. They used the money for their own fun.

Shahbaz already has about two dozen cases against him for robbery, snatching, theft, and the Arms Act. The police are now looking for his accomplice.
