The Delhi Police Crime Branch carried out a big operation and exposed a factory making fake desi ghee during the festival season.
After raids at several places, the police arrested 6 people involved in this syndicate.
The Crime Branch seized more than 1,000 kg of fake desi ghee from them. They were mixing dalda ghee, oil, and chemicals to make fake desi ghee, which is very harmful to health.
The police are questioning the accused to find out how many shopkeepers they supplied the fake ghee to.
The operation included the Crime Branch, the Food Department, and other teams.
