Dwarka District Police have arrested two snatchers involved in a cash snatching incident in the Mohan Garden area. The team of PS Mohan Garden solved the case within days through strong CCTV analysis and timely field action.
On 05 Nov, a PCR call about a snatching incident was received at PS Mohan Garden. The complainant, Himanshu (34), a Blinkit delivery rider, reported that while he was delivering a parcel near Shani Bazar Chowk, two men on a black motorcycle approached him. They pretended that they wanted to transfer online money in exchange for cash. When he took out his cash of ₹1,500, the pillion rider suddenly snatched the money and fled.
A case was registered at PS Mohan Garden.
A dedicated raiding team under the supervision of the SHO Mohan Garden, was formed.The team checked more than 50 CCTV cameras, collected technical inputs, and acted on secret information. Their efforts led to the arrest of two accused persons.
Accused Arrested
1. Vinit Mittal (33) — Resident of Hisar, Haryana; 09 previous involvements.
2. Ritik Singh (24) — Resident of Sainik Enclave, Ranhola; 01 previous involvement.
Recovery
• ₹500 out of the snatched cash
• One Hero HF Deluxe motorcycle (DL-1SAH-XXXX) used in the crime
