New Delhi – In a shocking incident in Delhi’s Najafgarh area, unidentified assailants opened fire on a two wheeler late Tuesday evening. According to police, the two wheeler was being driven by Rohit Lamba, a known associate of gangster Ashok Pradhan’s gang.

Police revealed that Rohit Lamba, came Dwarka to meet his friend Binesh @ Bunti and they were going towards temple, Three-four unknown persons in a breeza car fired upon them. Total five empty cartridges of 9MM found on the spot. Fortunately, Lamba escaped unhurt.

Investigations indicate that Lamba is currently out on bail in connection with the murder case of gangster Neeraj Bawania’s maternal uncle. Police suspect the attack is a result of an ongoing gang rivalry.

This is not the first attempt on Lamba’s life — gangster Himanshu Bhau had also planned an attack on him earlier.

Police received a PCR call from the complainant himself, and multiple teams have been deployed to trace the attackers.
