The Delhi Police Crime Branch, in a major breakthrough against organized crime, under the leadership of DCP Harsh Indora, has successfully dismantled an inter-state arms syndicate supplying weapons to dreaded gangs across Delhi-NCR and Rajasthan.
A team led by Insp. Krishan Kumar & Insp. Manjeet Singh of AGS/Crime Branch apprehended Gurmeet Singh (27) — the main arms supplier of the Sunny Sai Gang — from Sarurpur Kalan, Baghpat (U.P.), where he was running a secret firearms testing setup inside a tube well field.
Further, on his identification, police also arrested Sumit (27), a wanted robber from Greater Noida, and seized a stolen Ciaz car, pistol, and live cartridges from his possession. Sumit carried a ₹10,000 reward announced by Jaipur West Police, Rajasthan.

Accused Profile:
- Gurmeet Singh — Graduate, previously involved in multiple cases including murder, attempt to murder & illegal arms trade. Linked to Sunny Sai, Salam Tyagi, and Saddam Gauri gangs.
- Sumit — Ex–Civil Defense Volunteer turned robber; wanted in a sensational Jaipur robbery case.
This major operation has crippled the weapon supply chain of the notorious Sunny Sai Gang and prevented potential gang violence across Delhi-NCR.
