Report: Manmeen Walia, New Delhi

A shocking incident was reported this afternoon near Brijpuri Puliya under the jurisdiction of PS Gokalpuri.

An auto driver, Dev Sharma (47 yrs), resident of Bhagirathi Vihar, was stabbed by an unknown person and rushed to GTB Hospital by his friends, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The forensic team inspected the scene and collected vital evidence. A suspected person has been apprehended and is being examined.

A case under Section 103(1) BNS has been registered at PS Gokalpuri. Further investigation is underway under the supervision of senior officers.
