A shocking incident came to light in Outer-North Delhi, where a 5-year-old boy was kidnapped and brutally murdered by his father’s former driver.
On 21 October around 3:30 PM, a kidnapping complaint was received at NIA Police Station and later transferred to PS Narela. During investigation, it was found that the complainant’s son, aged 5 years, had gone missing while playing outside his home. Soon after, the police discovered the child’s body in a room belonging to Neetu, the complainant’s driver, who lived nearby.
The complainant revealed that he owns several Mahindra Champion vehicles and that his drivers Neetuand Wasim had fought the previous evening after drinking alcohol. When the complainant scolded and slapped Neetu for misbehaving, he got angry and planned revenge. The next day, Neetu lured the child to his rented room and killed him using a brick and a knife. The boy was taken to the hospital but was declared dead.

A case under Section 103(1) BNS was registered at PS Narela (FIR No. 700/25, dated 21.10.2025).
Under the directions of the Worthy DCP/Outer-North District, Hareshwer Swami, a joint team of PS Narela, AATS/OND, and Special Staff/OND was formed to solve the case at the earliest, considering the brutal nature of the crime involving a young child.
The police teams began a massive search operation. They monitored bus stands, railway stations, and interstate routes while scanning CCTV footage and tracking mobile details. Using technical surveillance and secret intelligence, the accused’s movements were traced to the Malkaganj area of Delhi. Acting swiftly, the joint team surrounded the area and arrested accused Neetu Sahay within 24 hours of the incident.
During questioning, the accused Neetu Sahay @ Nitu Saday, aged 28, confessed to his crime. He is originally from Madhubani, Bihar, and had been living in Narela, Delhi, for about a year.
He earlier worked as a driver for the complainant but was removed from his job about a month ago. Neetu was known to be a habitual drinker and short-tempered. On the night before the murder, he had argued with his employer and vowed revenge. This anger led him to commit the horrific act against the child.
No previous criminal record has been found against him so far.
Police have recovered blood-stained clothes belonging to the accused. Further investigation and recovery proceedings are in progress.
Though the innocent boy tragically lost his life, the accused was swiftly arrested within 24 hours under the supervision of DCP Hareshwer Swami,reflecting the prompt, dedicated, and effective action of the Outer-North District Police.
