The Special Cell Counter Intelligence team of Delhi Police carried out an encounter late night at Pushta Road, Kalindi Kunj. Two shooters of gangster Rohit Godara, Goldy Brar and Virendra Charan gang – Rahul and Sahil – were caught during the action.
Police had received information that accused of a triple murder case in Haryana were active in Delhi. A trap was laid at Pushta Road. Around 3 AM, a suspicious bike was seen. When asked to stop, the bikers opened fire at the police. In retaliation, police shot them in the legs and overpowered them. Both were admitted to hospital in injured condition.
According to Counter Intelligence, both shooters were working on the instructions of foreign-based gangsters Rohit Godara, Goldy Brar and Virendra Charan. Their target was to kill a social media influencer. They had already conducted recce in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Shooter Rahul was also involved in the December 2024 triple murder case in Yamunanagar, Haryana. He had been absconding till now as his identity was not established earlier.
The recent encounter at Kalindi Kunj once again highlights the outstanding leadership of Additional Commissioner of Police, Special Cell, Pramod Khushwaha. Under his guidance, the Special Cell Counter Intelligence team successfully neutralised a major conspiracy planned by international gangsters Rohit Godara, Goldy Brar, and Virendra Charan. By preventing the attempted killing of a social media influencer, he and his team have not only saved a life but also protected the city from a high-profile crime.
