The Crime Branch, Sunlight Colony, has arrested a wanted notorious autolifter and recovered four stolen luxury cars, successfully solving four cases of car theft in Delhi.
The accused has been identified as Aamir alias Iqrar alias Kaku (48 years), son of Iqbal Mohammed, resident of Mohalla Mohd. Sayeed, Bhogaon, District Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. He was arrested from Aligarh, U.P. in connection with FIR No. 164/24 registered at PS Crime Branch.
The case began on 28th August 2024, when one accused, Mukesh Kumar, was apprehended with a stolen Fortuner car and a forged Registration Certificate (R/C). with forged number plates. It was recovered from Crown Plaza Parking, Mayur Vihar. During further police custody, the accused led the team to recover three more luxury vehicles. During interrogation, Mukesh revealed that the forged R/C was provided by Aamir @ Iqrar @ Kaku.

Using technical surveillance and field intelligence, the team successfully tracked and arrested the accused Aamir alias Iqrar alias Kaku (48 years) on 12th September from Aligarh.
During questioning, Aamir disclosed that he used to supply forged R/Cs to Mukesh Kumar and was actively involved in stealing luxury vehicles from Delhi/NCR. He admitted to selling stolen vehicles in Himachal Pradesh through an associate named Narender, resident of Pathankot, Punjab. He is previously involved in seven criminal cases of theft.

1. Creta Car (e-FIR No. 003119/24, PS Subzi Mandi, Delhi)
2. Harrier Car (e-FIR No. 002217/24, PS Punjabi Bagh, Delhi)
3. Creta Car (e-FIR No. 030962/24, PS Dwarka North, Delhi)
4. Innova Car (e-FIR No. 019844/24, PS Mangolpuri, Delhi)
The Accused , Aamir alias Iqrar alias Kaku, is a 48-year-old resident of Mohalla Mohd. Sayeed, Bhogaon, Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, currently living in a rented flat in Aligarh. He is a graduate from Kanpur, U.P., married, and has two sons. Previously, he worked in various private jobs, but in 2021, he came in contact with Mukesh Kumar and became involved in auto-lifting and organized vehicle theft activities.
