Report : Manmeen Walia, New Delhi
Haryana’s most wanted gangster Lakhwinder Kumar has been deported from the USA to India in a major coordinated action. He faces more than 130 criminal cases, including extortion, murder, attempt to murder, and firing incidents.
Lakhwinder was running his extortion syndicate from the USA, targeting big businessmen and builders in Haryana. He used to demand ransom through calls, and if refused, his gang members would open fire to create fear.
The CBI, in coordination with international agencies, successfully brought him back to India and handed him over to Haryana Police at Delhi Airport. He will now be interrogated to uncover how his syndicate operated across Haryana, who his associates and shooters were, and how they executed criminal activities.
According to sources, over 50 individuals have recently been deported from the USA to India, including those who had illegally migrated through the ‘donkey route’ and were involved in criminal networks abroad.
This remarkable operation showcases the dedication and efficiency of the Indian Government and the CBI in ensuring that no criminal can escape justice — no matter where they hide. Their coordinated international effort has sent a strong message that India stands firm against organized crime and fugitives operating abroad.
A commendable achievement by the CBI and Haryana Police for bringing Haryana’s most wanted gangster Lakhwinder Kumar back to face justice.
